Last week I started the running program, eating healthy, and watching what I was eating, and I'm happy to announce that after one week, I have lost 2.6 pounds, woo!! Which means I have another 5.9 pounds to make my first goal (of many). I'm kinda confused and don't know why I lost so much in one week, I'm assuming it'll slow down (just hopefully not go back up), but don't worry I am eating and exercising and doing a normal amount of both! Also, today I started a food diary, so that I can keep track of EVERYTHING that I eat. I've read that you think you don't eat a lot, but that is because you forget things.
My next goal, is to do some consistent ab work, because I really really really need it! Maybe three times a week.

ReplyDeletecongrats anna! what an accomplishment! stay disciplined and consistent...that's always the hardest! haha!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Yes, keeping track of your eating definitely helps. For a nice, FREE online tool, check out sparkpeople.com. I used that a few years ago and LOVED it!
ReplyDeleteAnd to reply to your last comment...we live in Valrico, so not too far from you. I hate driving on 60 through Brandon! We often go shopping in Tampa just to avoid that mess. Ha!
Good for you! Awesome results!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, I am sad to say that 'yes' it will slow down. The first week of exercise and eating healthy often does result in a nice larger then anticipated number. After that you can expect to see .5 - 1.5 pounds per week.
Awesome start and keep it up! :)
