Today is the day!! I'm starting the "Couch to 5K" program. I saw it a while ago on Chele76's blog (awesome blog by the way!!) I always wanted to start it, but never got around to it. But today is the day, no reason in particular just because. The goal is to get down to the pre-baby weight (through running/exercise, and eating better, *much* better). Haven't weighed myself yet, but my guess is about 20 pounds (eek!). I'll make more goals once I've gotten there.
So, I guess this is my way of announcing to the world, I'M GOING TO DO IT!! So, please hold me accountable. I told Phil the same, but I can easily talk him out of something, aka I stick to my whining longer than he sticks to his "Anna go do it," so I win. I'm going to make a little chart, where I can cross of when I do each workout, and write the date on it!! Its going front and center on the refrigerator, and going to be really big, so it reminds me!! Its not coming off until I complete it!
Cheers to running!!

Brad and I don't eat a lot of fast food, but I have found that what we do it, is really bad. I tend to pick chicken [fried, topped with bacon, and usually ranch somewhere]. So I visited the web pages of all the places I eat and got the nutritional value of the meals I eat. I put it in a folder called, 'things I can no longer have' I was surprised by what I found. Did you know the Chicken bacon swiss meal [with curly fries and med Mt. dew] is 1,100 calories!!! I cut all that out. I think it has helped. Because I like sitting on the couch. I hate running. Props to you!
ReplyDeletegooood for you girl! i admire you because when it comes to exercising, i dont have much discipline. i end up making excuses and justifying my actions. hahaha! ;P
ReplyDeleteGood Luck, Anna! I know you can do it.
